The Seals Fall Box League is back in the fall of 2022 and we are very excited to teach the great game of box lacrosse with youth and high school lacrosse teams in San Diego. Each week, teams will spend half of their session working with a San Diego Seals lacrosse player learning new skills and the second half of the session getting live game play. The goal of this box lacrosse league is to continue developing fundamental skills, learn how to play box lacrosse the right way and have fun! 

What To Expect?

• Each week players will learn new skills and reinforce those skills during game play
• Teams will be made of players from their SDYLA teams
• Teams are encouraged to bring 1-2 coaches to help run their bench during game-play and assist with drills during the practice portion 
• When game play starts, the buzzer will sound every minute at which point the players on the floor will drop the ball and sprint off. At the same time, five new players from the bench will run on and play the ball live wherever it was dropped
• Each player will receive weekly instruction from San Diego Seals players 
• Each player will receive a Seals reversible jersey
• We will be sending out information before the start of the league to give everyone the basics of box lacrosse so we can make the most of each session.
• We will also send an email each week highlighting some key skills that we will place emphasis on at the next session
